So, you have finished your three to four weeks of truck driving school, you passed all necessary exams to obtain your CDL, and now it is time to find your first job. Congratulations! Now the real work begins.
 

Reminiscing, the one year on active duty was a piece of cake. As the army expression went, "could do it standing on my hands." The same could be said about the six years serving in the active reserve. I thought about it as two weeks JD Truck Training Centre at a beach resort without maid service. What was stark in my mind, that while in the reserves during the Korean War I did not get called back to active duty. I did not suffer the irreversible consequences of going to war.

There are a lot of things to learn during this period and you will still need a lot of practice driving and maneuvering the truck. Driving school will give you the bases, but you are no way able to jump right into an 80000 pound vehicle all by yourself just yet.

Professional truck drivers are required to obtain a CDL - a commercial driver's license in order to maintain truck driver jobs. To get a CDL, you must take a test at your local DMV, which consists of a written portion and a driving portion. Though schooling is not required, it is highly recommended you attend a Truck driving school before you take the test so you can receive proper training to help you pass.

If you are running early make sure to ask about delivering early. Wasting your drive time at a truck stop because you're early may be relaxing now, but when you consider what it may be costing you, you may reconsider. The sooner your empty, the sooner your on the road again.

First step is before changing lanes in a HR Truck Licence truck driving school plan ahead. You do this by knowing whats around you. You are using your mirrors and checking blind spots. If there was a car right behind you and he is not there take a second look at your blind spot because he just might be sitting there next to you.

Don't forget to assess your family's hobbies and entertainment preferences. If you're golfers, introduce puppy to the golf bag, spiked shoes, golf hat, etc. If you're boaters, introduce puppy to the boat several times before taking him out on the water. Baseball fans? Let puppy watch his family throw and hit balls. Even better, take puppy to a local children's game and sit in the bleachers with him for 20 to 30 minutes. This is a great new experience for puppy. You can typically find a baseball, soccer or football game every weekend! Anyone up for basketball? Find a public court and sit with puppy (not too close). Let him watch the moving ball and all the frenzied action!

So, doubtless you are convinced that dog training is critical and there is no time like the present. After you research your dog training options, get started and have fun. Take my word for it, a trained dog is much more fun than a jumping, slobbering mess. My dog was an honor graduate of his courses and just a test shy of becoming a therapy dog and he's still a jumping, slobbering mess, but that's another story entirely...
